Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of peeked toe shoes, but for the sake of fashion and trend, I will also admit that they are functional in many cases.  For instance, with a kitten heel (like these from Jessica Bennett).  This is a classic look because it helps increase the line of your leg, which is especially important when wearing a flatter heel.  So, if you’re going to wear a kitten heel, throw in a peeked toe and you’re golden.
