I find it amusing now that everyone (and by everyone I mean the fashionista’s that we are supposed to listen to when it comes to trend advice) is trying to commercialize on the success of the ‘new’ mary jane as if it were the next big thing in Hollywood fashion. Uh, excuse me sirs…as a shoe fashion conscious consumer I have to object. can i just interject here and laugh at you. We’re not stupid. I hate to break it to you, but the mary jane is old news. This shoe never left - it’s a standard classic - and no matter how many peep-toes, buckles, and two-tones you throw it the mix the fact remains that the mary jane is brilliant old school and you can’t take credit for that.
