This celebrity shoe star is so obsessed with shoes that she’s been known to buy pairs that don’t fit - got any in 7 1/2 you’re not using darling? If this next hint doesn’t give it away than I give up. These Roberto Cavalli crystal stiletto t-straps are worn by an actress whose perfect man is a cross between Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Mmmmm…us too!

One of my all time favorite movies is ‘The Princess Bride’, there is just something about those novelty movies from your youth; ‘Goonies’, ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’, ‘Sixteen Candles’, that make you all giddy and warm inside. When I shoe browse, as often is the case when I’m on the internet, outside, shopping, people watching, and virtually every other activity that involves your eyes, I’m pretty much living that childhood princess fantasy. They always said that I played with Barbies too long. Well, leave it to the lovely Betsey Johnson to fulfill my princess shoe fantasy. These might be a little over-indulgent, but sometimes you just have to be gluttonous (we’ll discuss the Seven Deadly Shoe Sins later this week). One thing is for sure, these will certainly make your next outfit pop. Opinions?

Talk about boots that were made for walking. These overly ornate knee-high boots from DansSara are exactly what we’re talking about when we say “gaudy done right”. Yeeha! Designed with a rodeo princess in mind, but made exclusively for shoedish to go bar hopping in; a rodeo bar perhaps? These boots make us fee indestructible, so much so that we may be giving that mechanical bull a run for it’s money…but only if we get to leave the boots on. These boots have us wondering why cowboys are always singing the blues. Hot to trot! DansSara is rocking my western world.

Hahahaha! When I first saw these furry heels from Gigi Favela I just had to laugh - it’s like a couture bathing shoe or like those silly little plastic Barbie doll slippers you buy for your 6-year old daughter - but then I realized that these were quite the expensive bedroom slippers. The truth is that the fur used to make these ridiculous heels are Orylag, which is a fur exclusively bred in the Charente-Maritime region of France. Gigi Favela’s creator, Monica Favela George says, “I’ve continued to push the materials envelope…” We’ll say! Luxury fur aside, shoedish isn’t convinced about these heels, but we’ll give Gigi credit for the attention to comfort - the new line features 3mm anti-shock/comfort materials.
