Here are some pink leftovers from Valentine’s Day. Shoedish could only take so much, so these babies got left behind. Since we leave no man behind, let’s play a little game to get them in the game. With an ankle flap like that, it’s the very least we could do.

Color me this, color me that, color me crazy, color me bonkers, color me happy!!!! Is it just a dream or are these pretty big buckle-strap stilettos from Manolo Blahnik coloring me green? Eeeeeeeeeee! If this shoe day gets any better, shoedish may need triple bypass surgery. It’s just too much; we’re stroking out as we type! This is like the couture slut shoe…and we mean that in the most endearing way. Te quiero, corino! Te quiero! Te quiero! I love you, darling! I love you! I love you!! Brindo por los zapatos! Nowadays it seems like everyone is talking abut going green and it just so happens that Manolo took it literally. Shoedish is all about going green; we’ll be sure to wear these next time we walk our bottles, plastic, and paper down to the recycling bins.

We are seriously lovin’ on Prada’s new collection! Their Spring 2008 Collection is like stepping through the looking glass and tumbling down the yellow brook road…or something like that. It reminds me a bit of a chemical fantasy; nymphs, absinthe, and Gaudi. These funky platforms are like the Hansel and Gretel of shoes and since this season is all about the heels, this flower facade is a superstar trend winner. Violet and green are working wonders and somehow, even though these are teetering on that line between disaster and brilliant, they succeed. There is a very thin line between love and hate and right now, we love!!!

Last week shoedish posted about some ugly shoes from Gigi Favela. As usual we received some emails that disagreed. Though we don’t usually care to defend our opinions, in this case, we would like to take this opportunity to say that, in general, we do like GF. We just didn’t really like those furry monster bedroom-like stilettos. Everyone makes mistakes…even Louboutin, Marc Jacobs, and Jenne O have had missteps. It happens. These, however, are great! We love how the red straps pop against the black patent and the dolly full d’orsay combination. Yay for uniquely designed shoes! See, shoedish isn’t always nasty.
