Shoedish loves funky shoes, but these leave much to be desired. Really? Hahahahaha! These casual European flats from Angeline Tournier are just awful, right? Gaudy is good, metallic is great, we can even get behind a little heart figure action, but in a European flat it’s a bit much. Take those characteristics and put them into a strappy sandal, peep-toe pump, or even a stiletto bootie and we’ll talk, but this is soooooooooooooo wrong. It’s as if the manufacturer puked up foil and pasted a heart onto the messy creation for good measure. Deformed Jelly Belly’s are easy to swallow; deformed shoes not so much.

Stella McCartney made a slam dunk this fashion week season with her runway wedges, but we’re going to focus on her ready-to-wear casual sandals. These pretty sandals from Intermix Online are ringing shoedish’s bell and we catch ourselves dreaming of dolphins, beaches, white sand, and the hot summer sun. You can’t go wrong with Stella. Not only is the girl super trendy, but she makes everyone happy with her animal and eco-friendly designs. These delicious summer sandals have all the makings of a perfect summer sandal right down to the braided hemp straps in champagne metallic. How’s that for au natural? Who said granola was boring? Pair these with an airy summer dress, cotton legs, and a golden tan and you’ll be dancing the Argentinean Tango all the way into Chile.

No guesses. No right answer. I’m disappointed. Not one person even had a guess? Dios Mio! The Celebrity Shoe Star from yesterday is the pretty pop icon and Sexy Back sensation, Justin Timberlake! The ex-NSYNCer has been spotted in a number of trendy kicks, boots, and even dress shoes and though we’re partial to the casual footwear, he can pretty much make everything look good. Now, our only question is when was Mr. JT too poor to buy a new pair of shoes? He’s been in show-biz in some form or another since he was a child, as mousketeer and then as the lead singer of boy band *NSYNC. We’re just saying…

We were hangin’ with our friend VivalaDiva yesterday when we stumbled across these mustard-yellow wedges from Fly London and thought, hmm…those are kind of cute. Is it just me or are these so very, very London? Since yellow - amarillo in Spanish - seems to be battling it out American Gladiator style for shoedish’s full attention these days, we thought we’d give them a little shoedish love. Our friend green - verde en Espanol - might get jealous, but you’ll just have to let me deal with him. He’s lustfully jealous about the others in the brood, but shoedish’s intimidating glare can usually quiet the nagging. That along with the petting will calm the shoe storm.

Well, it can’t get much better than this. Or can it? I imagine that it will, but for today these pretty feather-fluff flower power stiletto sandals from Luichiny are making our shoe world go round. Where would shoedish be without that wondrous circle of shoe life. Eat, sleep, shoe (shoe is a verb in this case). Shoes equal life! We only tease. There are other things that matter in our little world. For example, work is important in order to buy the shoes that we desire. Friends and family are vital to survival; we need to have people to admire our pretty shoes. Hmmm…what else, what else? Anything? No. I guess that’s about it. At the end of the day it all comes back to the shoes…
