Well, it happened. Shoedish had been true blue to her Christian Dior platforms for fall (we’d set aside the money and everything) and then these new Yves Saint Laurent platforms came marching along. Damnit! I wish I could quit you! You see the problem here is that these are available now, whereas the Dior’s are available in the fall. You mean, I don’t have to wait? EEEEE! Instant gratification can make monogamy very difficult. These pretty platform loafers from YSL have us drooling while we frantically transfer money into our checking account. What’s that we said about being frugal to a fault? Can shoedish hold out for her Dior true loves or will we crumble under the weight of desire? Stay tuned…

A pretty pretty classic from Kate Spade. Love it! This is black done soooooo right. They’re a little pricey for our tastes, but momma shoe always says that classics are worth the investment. They’re classic black, but the bow sends them into that fantasy world of fun and unique. It doesn’t get much better than that, right? Right!

We’re thinking that these, too, would be another great shoe option for bridesmaid L. Unfortunately these aren’t cheap enough to be the backup option.

Gotta love cheap t-strap sandals in multiple colors. This is how us poor shoe lovers pretend to be Cameron Diaz. See we can have every shape and color too…just not in Jimmy Choo. Yellow is the color of summer, but snakeskin is a hefty trend this year as well. Thank goodness we don’t have to choose. I’ll take one of each please! Additionally, the black pair would be a nice backup for L’s maid of honor duty this summer.

It’s Terrible Tuesday time again and this week we have something a little surprising on our list. Usually shoedish loves Nanette Lepore, but these fuchsia sandals from Saks leave much to be desired. This is like the gaudy grandma shoe of all gaudy grandma shoes. Betty White might be the only person on the face of this earth who could pull this off. They might have been successful sans Minnie Mouse bow, but as is this looks like, well, I’m not really sure I can come up with a clever diss for it. Maybe I’m being too harsh? Maybe. Shoedish has been dealing with a serious fever that could be frying her brain. Opinions? Thoughts? We love it when people disagree with us. Discuss.
