Truth, dare, double dare, promise, or repeat? Did anyone ever pick promise? I remember once I chose repeat and had to make a complete fool of myself as I shouted some ridiculous line about my latest crush. That sucked. Kids can be so cruel. Shoedish was watching High School Reunion last night (it was a free television download on iTunes) and it was a fantastic reminder of all the trashy reality shows I’m missing living on the other side of the pond. It was also a reminder of how great high school was and how no matter when you graduated all high schools are he same. Ugly Betty en Espanol is fantastic, but nothing beats the awesomeness of reality television. If you haven’t watched it, get it, shoedish gives it her Shoedish Seal of Approval!

I was just notified that I neglected to tell my dear readers who this weeks celebrity shoe star was. Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t realize I had to tell if no one was willing to guess (yes, I’m being snotty). And the celebrity shoe star was? Cameron Diaz. The 34-year old actress - who played shoe lover, Maggie Feller, in 2005’s In Her Shoes - is a shoe fanatic. She also happens to be the ex-girlfriend of last weeks Celebrity Shoe Star. Sneaky, sneaky!! But, not sneaky enough for ‘Can’, who got it right yet again. Well done! One more and you’re getting a shoelicious gift. Guess I better make it hard next week.

We’ve been following Tashkent for some time now and we’ve been eagerly awaiting a preview of her new line. How can you not be excited about a designer who brings traditional Italian craftsmanship to modern shoes. These pretty boots from her fall line are similar to a pair from the winter 07 line, which is currently available at Shopbop. We like the new addition booties just a tad better and we can’t wait to get our hands on them. Tashkent by Cheyenne uses lots of luxury materials like leathers, furs, skins, and suede’s. Unique booties with smartly placed cutouts are a signature look through all her collections. Tashkent debuted in 2006, which makes her line even more impressive. You’d be hard pressed to find a designer as mature and advanced as this is their mere fifth season.
