I was in the shoe store yesterday when I stumbled across these gorgeous platform slingback shoes from Pedro Garcia. We had a moment…and then…shoedish walked away. I went to lunch with my friends, bought groceries at the store, and did my Spanish homework, but no matter what I did and how hard I tried I could not get those shoes out of my head. I imagine they felt the same way, sitting in that lonely shop window wondering why I’d forsaken them. Didn’t they deserve to be loved? Didn’t they deserve a loving home to be a part of? Didn’t they deserve to share a shelf with other brothers and sisters? Didn’t they? The guilt was almost unbearable. So, I marched my way back down to that store and…they were gone. GONE!! I guess someone else had the same idea. Lucky for me they’re available online. Thank goodness for the internet!
