Oh Jessica Simpson, if only you were as smart. clever, and unique as the shoe designers who create the shoes that have your name. We hate to admit this, but we are in love with these d’orsays from Jessica Simpson. This happened to us once before and we had to swallow our pride and admit to not only liking but purchasing a pair of JS pumps. The were red, mary jane, and comfy…can you blame us? These d’orsays come in a generous slew of colors, textures, and prints, but shoedish has an unexplainable polka dot fetish that is drawing us dangerously close to gaudy purgatory and this design in particular. These pretty, pretty d’orsays from the line that pays to use Jessica Simpson’s name are available at Zappos for $83.

What, oh what can we say about these peep-toe bow vamps from Betsey Johnson that they aren’t already saying for themselves? Sometimes shoedish forgets how smart a sexy pair of shoes are that we feel the need to boast and boast and boast until people are turned off. Okay, okay shoedish, sorry I asked. But, we can’t help it. These heels from Betseyville obviously have a lot to say and clearly do not need our help doing it. We’ll just add, in case they’re being too modest, that these are the creme de la creme of trendy shoe fashion 2008. Thoughts?

Feliz fin de semana! TGIF! Ole, ole, ole, ole! And all that jazz. Shoedish is particularly excited for the upcoming weekend as it signals the end of our 7-day fast and the beginning of our first holiday away from our holiday as we visit some friends in Bologna, Italy. You know what that means? Good food, great wine, and splendiferous shoes!!! We’re so excited that we’re twitching in our stilettos (though that could be symptoms of malnutrition from 4 days sans food). We’ll be on a shoedish hunt at the most beautiful shoes - something like these mediterranean blue dress sandals from Luciano Padovan might ring our shoe bell - in all the land and we’ll be bringing them straight to you via The Shoe Dish…cause we’re cool like that.
