Bright shoes, white shoes,
Dandy-dance-by-night shoes,
Perhaps-a-little-tight shoes,
Like some? So would I.

BUT
Flat shoes, fat shoes,
Stump-along-like-that shoes,
Wipe-them-on-the-mat shoes,
That’s the sort they’ll buy.

Prada is a fashion innovator, taking what has always been oozing sex appeal in Italian fashion and creating a more minimalist style. After all, this is the designer who made the backpack and headgear trendy high fashion accessories. Shoedish is a fan of the casual spring sandal line available from Prada. Prada is continuing this season with their famous minimalist chic utilitarian vibe, taking it back to the countryside with moccasins and sandals in patents, deerskin, suede, and calfskin. The ‘Arabesque’ is a squiggly t-strap thong available in summer pale pink and black. These remind us of a casual princess shoe - for the princess whose holed up in the countryside with her farm boy lover - like The Princess Bride.

Attaching All Star and Pro Athletes names to athletic footwear and clothing is an age old story and today Pony International signed Randy Moss, of New England Patriots fame, in an exclusive partnership to design signature Randy Moss athletic footwear and clothing. “I get approached to endorse a ton of stuff each year that really doesn’t mesh with who I am or what is important in my life, this agreement with Pony lets me help to give back and help the next wave of young players coming up,” said Randy Moss of his signature line with Pony. Pony International designs high performance and casual athletic footwear and apparel for men, women, and children. Muhammad Ali, Spud Webb, Lawrence Taylor, Reggie Jackson, and Tracy Austin are among the many premiere athletes who have donned Pony gear. The first wave of Pony’s Moss branded gear will arrive August 1, 2008.

When shoedish first moved to Barcelona we were instantly taken in by the elaborate and colorful style walking the streets. Finally, we’ve found a city with more color and fervor than us! I guess it should come as no surprise really, considering that this is the city that raised three of the most brilliant artists of the 20th century. Custo Barcelona was one of the first stores we stumbled upon and when we say stumble, we mean that we actually tripped in our mary janes when we walked past. Custo began their foray into fashion 25 years ago with elaborate one of a kind graphic T’s.
