It is no surprise that YSL seems to be a theme for this week. Shoedish is a firm believer in cosmic energy and karma and the fact that Yves Saint Laurent has littered The Shoe Dish at the start of this week is merely another argument in support of this.

Leighton’s platform YSL’s are the Jeanne Platform Loafers from Fall 2006 and as we expected are not currently in stock at any shoe stores. After an exhaustive shoe search, however, we’ve managed to round up a few nice versions of the platform loafer. If these don’t satisfy your taste for the real thing, we understand, keep a look out for the YSL version on eBay or contact the stockists for Saks, Bergdorf, or Nordstrom’s, to see if there’s any way to get your hands on them.
