Here’s some more gladiator news for your summer fashion front. This season calls for sparkly shoe duds, centipede straps, and some color contrasting and Sam Edelman has all the trends wrapped up in one pretty little package. These gladiator sandals from Sam Edelman at Urban Outfitters are complete with metallic snakeprint straps and a beaded t-strap. A zippered ankle flap and triple-strap at the ankle complete the trendy look. Haven’t purchased your gladiator sandals yet this year? Strap in and buckle down now - this look isn’t going anywhere - with some Sam Edelman fun.

Balenciaga is known for creating viciously unique and absolutely incredible (albeit expensive) shoes. From ‘Lego’ heels to over-the-knee gladiator sandals, Balenciaga isn’t afraid to push the fashion envelope, and shoedish loves it! These pretty new blue and green color blocked sandals from Balenciaga are yummy for summer - when Sara Jessica Parker is wearing them you know they’re a fashion ‘Do’ - so imagine our surprise when we spotted Heidi Montag, of The Hills fame, wearing them as well. Didn’t this girl just create a trashy cheap line of ‘tween hooker clothes for Anchor Blue? How did she even get her hands on such a fashionable pair of peeps? Why are designers giving her pretty shoes to wear? Oh, Hollywood. All jokes aside, who do you think wore them best? Leave your votes after the jump!

We do a lot of talking about triple strap mary janes on this site, but we don’t mean to neglect those shoes and sandals that have decidedly more straps and legs to offer. These rainbow metallic arachnid sandals from Jimmy Choo are a prime example of what can go extraordinarily right when you throw a couple extra straps into the mix. The se 8-strapped sandals are pretty in a rainbow foiled way and will look lovely in the sweet sun of summer.
*This gorgeous Jimmy Choo sandal is available at Saks for $750.

Of all the fashion mistakes a man can make this may be the worst and yet, oddly most common. You might make an argument here for novelty ties, but since this website is devoted to shoes and shoe accessories, we’re going to go with the age old socks with sandals sin. This is a fashion no, no, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dreaming of summer doesn’t qualify this fashion don’t; socks alone will not keep you warm in the chilly winter months and as for wearing this look in the summer, we merely ask why? There is even a website devoted to the strange familiarness of men wearing socks. Check out Sandal and Socker for tons more laughs…or tears, depending on how it affects you.
*If you know or have seen some fashion sinners and victims and want to send us your pics, please email us!

There is something to be said for truly affordable shoes and we love us a good cheap chic trend resource like Forever 21. When you get attached to a wild trend that you just know won’t last or if you’re just out to buy some adolescent chic treats without the commitment, Forever 21 makes it possible to buy without guilt. These gaudy embellished peep-toe slingbacks from Forever 21 are exactly what we’re talking about. Shoedish loves a unique pair of shoes. Give us bobbles, trinkets, and blingaling and we’ll be singing your shoe praises all the way to shoe heaven, but sometimes it’s nice to buy a silly fantasy shoe without any strings attached. These $24 pedlings, for example, are easily qualified. Some people spend that much on dinner, after all.

Looks like some one else has been taking sneaky little trips inside the looking glass. Manolo Blahnik follows suit and joins the ranks of other shoe designers like Miu Miu and channels children’s story books. These scalloped dolly strap pumps from Manolo Blahnik bring the fairy tale to life. Sprinkled with feminine fairy dust and the sweetest pink in the land these ankle bearing, cork bed wishes are only a tear away from a dream come true. The subtle neutrality of the colors are in stark contrast to the cut and design of the shoe itself. These are the shoes that Cinderella, Snow White, Pretty Woman, Jasmine, and even Princess Fiona wished they were wearing when they started their lives in “happily ever after”.
