Of course on the first day after World Earth Month ends we’d find the perfect pair of green shoes. Okay, so these are only green in color and not in earth saving shoe construction techniques, but still…
Shoedish is in love!!! This is like the one of the greatest green shoes ever invented! We’re absolutely digging on the color and it’s absolutely digging on us. Diggin’ on you, baby, baby, ooh, baby, baby. It’s all like that, it’s all like…okay, so rewind. If the singing didn’t convince you let me just say this. Green, red soled, peep-toe, platform, skittle patent for summer, and Louboutin. What more can I say?

More proof that the dragon Sergio Rossi sandal does, in fact, exist! The proof is in the sketch…or something like that. We heard that the limited-edition sandals were a high platform stiletto, but holy shoe crap! Thank goodness that shoe sketches are highly exaggerated! These shoes might be glitteratti-ready, but even us mere mortals can have the chance to own them when they go live in SG boutiques on May 14th. “This shoe celebrates the festive mood of a festival that takes place in one of the most beautiful and glamorous coasts of the world,” says Edmundo Castillo, Sergio Rossi’s creative director. “An event where cinema and fashion meet to fill your eyes with inspiration.” Right…just hand over the shoes.

We must admit that paying EUR 52 (about $75) for a pair of thigh-high socks is asking a bit much, but would it help if I told that they were gold? Okay, so it’s not the gold that carpets Donald Trumps penthouse, but still. This pretty gold metallic hosiery from Gaspard Yurkievich had us re-budgeting for May. Shoedish could maybe rationalize the buying of a $75 pair of shimmering gold thigh-highs. Could we? They are loose and lightweight and they’ll make our legs shine even more than what the summer sun can do alone. Hmmm…me thinks we’re going to have sit on this one for a little bit.

This is the shoe that shoedish has been talking about for the last 4 months! Shoedish wants this shoe so bad that it’s actually physically painful to look at them on someone else’s foot. We first spotted the animal-print version of these shoes on Diane Kruger (Damn her) at Dior’s runway show and again recently (the shoes pictured to the right) on Nicky Hilton (Double Damn Her!). We want them!!! Neiman Marcus has the open-toe version available in beige and you can get the black and white at Dior’s webiste, but we’re holding out for the the animal-print closed-toe version shown here on Kruger and model. Ho hum, another lovely shoe that shoedish so can’t afford, but will do everything in her power to purchase. Any ideas?

Word has landed for an exclusive Sergio Rossi, Limited-Edition Red-Carpet sandal for the 61st Annual Cannes Film Festival. Sergio Rossi announced on Monday that it would be designing 150 limited-edition gold and silver satin sandals that would be marked by a metal plate on the sole, which reads: “Limited edition red carpet 2008.” The “dragon” Sergio Rossi open-toe sandal will have a platform and stiletto - instep with the current shoe trends - and will be sold exclusively in Sergio Rossi boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, Milan, Rome, London, and Paris starting May 14. Shoedish looks forward to seeing the dragon shoe come to life.
*A dragon shoe is a shoe that - for the time being - exists only in the realm of mythical possibilities. In other words, we haven’t seen an actual prototype, but we believe with unwavering faith that it does exist.

These wooden wedge sandals from Roberto Cavalli are extravagant, to say the very least. Uh, Mr. Gnome called and he wants his wife’s shoes back. Of course, you know shoedish well enough by now to now that she probably loves them. This is high fashion no doubt and once it steps off the runway it’s probably way too Miro meets Picasso, but we’re pretty sure that mini celebrities like MK and A Olsen or Nicole Richie will be wearing them soon. We’re loving the heel focus and we’ll wear any clog that makes us look 4 inches taller.
