Fall has come early! Okay, so it doesn’t have quite the same ring as Christmas, but if we told you these ‘Bit of Romance’ booties were the gift would you feel better? London Underground’s newest shoe has just landed at the LF Online Store and we think that they are pretty darn cute. Rugged cowgirl meets city chic and with two great color combinations, we think these buckle-calf ankle boots are a boudoir dream. Last week we published these couture platform sandals from Giambattista Valli and there copycat counterpart from Bakers with a promise to reveal the impostor… The commenter’s got it right! Glad you know your shoes shoedishers!! The one of the left is the true blue from Giambattista Valli, while the affordable version from Bakers is on the right. While we wholeheartedly agree with what you all said about the telltale “cheap” signals, we must also see the benefits of an affordable knockoff. I’m not personally a huge fan of this shoe, cheap or knockoff, but if I were I’d go for the knockoff merely on principle. Kaka, I guess you’ll just have to remove your heels during sex when it comes to these.

Shoedish has become a little dependent on flat soled shoes and sandals of late. In the summer, we always wear just a little less heel, but this extended vacation has caught us being very lazy. We blame it on the cobblestone streets and the really cute selection of flats available to us heel lovers. The one good thing about my fall into flats is that I have souped up my once slim collection. From studded gladiators to charm embellished t-straps I must say that my flats are pretty darn cute. These studded t-strap flats from Lanvin would make an excellent addition to our shoe brood, especially considering that with all the new kids in the closet, I’ve yet to adopt a black pair. I have an aversion to black shoes until I need a black pair of shoes. Oy! Shoedish will never learn.
