OMFG! Shoedish has just found her new favorite pair of shoes. You know how crazy we get about our unique shoes and these peep-toe, twisted-strap heels from Strutt Couture are ringing our shoe bell. The neutral, even mute, black and grey tones of the the body are offset by the silver studs and shiny and the glossy red, nail polish finished sole. Strutt Coutures Fall 2008 collection of shoes draws its inspirations from the 40s and 50s - a fashion element we’ll be seeing a lot of in the coming months - and these peep-toe dance heels are also a feat in the pop art and design structure of the Mod period as well. A shoe that “swings” three decades all in one is a shoe we can certainly sink our toes into.

They call it mellow yellow! As you all well know by now, yellow is the color for spring and summer. With the warm weather beating down our doors and the Mediterranean beaches calling our names it’s no wonder that yellow is the color leading the parade. Maybe it’s just me, but shouldn’t yellow always be a featured color in the summer? Regardless… These pretty patent, skittle-yellow, wedges from Michael Kors are drumming up scores of fans. A simple and sleek design, these half d’orsay peep-toes are channeling the designs of big-name shoe designers like Christina Louboutin. These best part about these summer wedges from Michale Kors is that they are currently on sale at Nordstoms. Now how do you like that?

This picture really doesn’t do this shoe any justice, but we point them out here merely to push the fact that we are seriously crushing on Barbara Bui. This summer white peep-toe is complete with a double-bowed vamp - remember what we told you about the peep-toe for fall - and will wear you straight into the cold weather season. The super high stiletto is made bearable (even possible) by the hidden platform on the base. We’re always a bit skeptical when it coms to white heels. They are either too wedding chic or too…well, white. These peep-toes from Barbara Bui, however, have made it onto the white show want list.

Oh no! This just can’t be happening! Yves Saint Laurent has added a new color to their awesomely spectacular ‘It’ shoe, the YSL ‘Tribute’, and it is shoepositively shoetastic. We hate you YSL! Just when we thought we’d be content with the knockoff version you burst our happy shoe bubble with the prettiest color combination yet. Oh, how I wish I could quit you! Suede is making a play for 2008 shoe trends and if hey continue to mate with designs like these, they’ll be successful at it. The vibrant purple suede is combined with metallic gold piping to send these platform sandals straight to shoe heaven and have all us shoe fiends and lovers coveting them the whole way. Bleh!
