It’s a salapalooza going on right now at Victoria’s Secret; must be the remnants of Memorial Day. Shop Victoria Secret now to experience their 20 to 40% off select shoe styles, like these red or python-embossed t-strap sandals. Yummy!!! Shoedish is such a sucker for the t-strap, but we’re even more entranced by the extreme cut-out look (ie. strap-happy) of this summer and fall’s shoe trends. Plus, if the above weren’t reasons enough, these pretty peeps are only $50! Gladiator-inspired with a sneaky snakeskin finish and affordable…what more could a shoe girl ask for? Shoedish has a birthday tomorrow and we think that occasion affords some pretty new shoes.

And the Celebrity Shoe Star is Agyness Deyn. Agyness Deyn, born Laura Hollins, is an English supermodel who was recently named “the fashion industry’s next great supermodel”. She is currently starring in the ad campaigns for leading couture designers, Burberry and Giorgio Armani. Hailed an “ambassador of British youth culture” Agy has a unique style all her own and this style translates into her wonderful footwear. The world may not need another model turned celebutante, but for now we’ll just focus on the fact hat she has really great shoes.
*Well done Can, again we’re impressed!!!!

Here’s a way to wear the new pom pom look - which recently exploded in raffia-wear - in a more silent ode to the trend devils of fashion. These pom-vamped ballet flats from J. Crew are available in summers brightest colors like bright azalea and sour lemon. J.Crews jelly ballet flat was just recently chosen by Style.com as a summer staple, but we think that their pom pom ballerin d’orsay is a much better option. Its skittle-bright summer shades will wear you all summer long, while the pom will bring straight into the fashion paradise of the fall. Shoedish likey!!

“Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” - Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel.
The new CHANEL boutique has opened on Robertson Drive and the irreverent spirit of this area was the inspiration for the structure and design of this 5,395 square foot boutique, designed by architect Peter Marino. The airy, open space, of the Boutique resembles an art gallery, and when you think of fashion today, that’s exactly what it houses. The clean lines of this simple in a simple boutique serve as a blank wash and backdrop for the new creations that CHANEL creates. The new CHANEL boutique will present a constantly renewed selection of products, hand chosen from the world of CHANEL. Has anyone seen it live and in living color? We’d love to hear how it stands in real life.

Remember that week that shoedish devoted to Cesare Paciotti? Well, we are a big fan of the Italian designer. We love the unique designs of their shoes, the oddball shapes, the unique fabrics, and the bizarre cut of each piece in the collection. There is something to be said for designers who push the envelope and Cesare Paciotti is pushing it to the limit. These purple peep-toe clogs have pushed too far! We often make references to the purple people eater when we talk about purple shoes, but this time we’re actually seeing a monster, one eyed and all. Oh, it’s truly awful! I can’t say this is the ugliest shoe we’ve ever seen on shoedish - there are some ugly shoes out there - but this one comes pretty darn close. Purple Week has brought is a disappointing Day 2. Oy!
