This model turned actress who is most well-known for her bitch act alongside Lindsay Lohan in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and her breakout role in Transformers has some sweet shoes to go along with her sexy stems. Megan Fox is engaged to hottie, Brian Austin Green, of 90210 fame, and infamously admits to previous drug experimentation. Though shoedish fights the notion that 9 tattoos and tasting illegal drugs qualifies you as a wild child, that’s exactly the tag the Fox has obtained. Her recent spread in FHM has sealed her famous sex appeal, but we think the tattoo on her shoulder says it all, “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies.”

Lick Me

Any shoe that is called “Lick Me” is a friend in shoedish’s eyes and these peep-toe flats from Irregular Choice are precisely that. These dreamsicle flavored peeps are as deliciously flavorful in shoe design as they are in school girl flirt. When Irregular Choice hits the nail on the head, they hit it with all their might. We’ve seen a lot of yellows, fuchsias, and turquoise this season, but orange is one skittle-spring color we wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more of. Besides orange is a color that can easily last all the way into fall. School yard chic meets trend 2008 and we’re licking our chops for just one taste.

Green peep-toe from Faith

Mmmmm, today is a good shoe day at The Shoe Dish. Sometimes, though very rarely, shoedish looses her inspiration. It seems to have something to do with the weather…or the seasons, but you can see it all wrapped up in The Shoe Dish. The posts become a little anorexic and the shoes aren’t nearly as spectacular. We’ve been behind one such speed bump for a little while now, but these gorgeous holographic green peep-toes from Faith are helping to pull us out of our shoe rut. The ‘Cooture’ platform from Faith features an elastic side gusset, which creates the side cutout and a super sky-high stiletto platform sends these shoes straight to fashion heaven. Green always makes us feel a little happier and a peep-toe platforms doesn’t hurt either.

I haven’t spoken about this because The Shoe Dish is the last place we need to be discussing politics and if there’s one thing I’ve learned from having a big mouth and stubborn personality, it’s that you don’t discuss politics with friends or acquaintances (that and religion) because it will never get you anywhere. But…I just have to say how happy I am Barry has clenched the Democratic nomination. And just to make sure this all ties right back into fashion, we should tell you that CafePress, an online clothing store that screens personalized slogans onto a brood of t-shirts (shoedish has her very own “Yes We Can” shirt from the store), has experienced 138% sales increase of elections related gear and senator Obama is leading the sales pack. It’s no Adlai Stevenson shoe pin, but woohoo none-the-less! No matter your reasons or your candidate, make sure you get out there in the Fall and vote for your man.

We’ve written before about Hetty Rose, the shoe designer who makes absolutely gorgeous made-to-order shoes, and now we’re pleased to be showing you a whole new line of the deliciously spring, deliriously colorful, and dynamically shoetastic collection for summer. Oooh la la! The name of these shoes might conjure images of powder blue grandma shoes (no offense to the grandma’s out there) but the shoe itself provokes a much more youthful sense of fashion. The Hetty Rose label creates their shoes by re-using and re-working vintage materials, namely vintage Japanese kimono fabrics, and hand-making them into creative designs that are made to fit each individual person. Terrible Tuesday: Michael Kors

Jeepers Creepers! Either we’ve posted these evil shoes once before or they’re haunting us. We read an interview with Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) the other day where she talked about her ugly feet and loose skin (our words, because we’re not nearly cool enough to summarize in British slang). There’s no doubt that she’s skinny, but apparently Mrs. Becks has saggy skin from having three babies and refuses to go to the gym to tighten up because (and we will quote here), she “can’t wrap her mind around the footwear”. Hahahaha! That’s the best and most unique excuse we’ve ever heard for not working out. Vicki B is the original stiletto nazi and we’d expect a diehard like her to run on a treadmill in sky-high platforms, right? Anyway, the reason we bring up VB is because we believe that she is the reason for the sneaker platform comeback. It was the Spice Girls who brought them to the fashion forefront in the 90s and Vicky B was spotted wearing a similar pair to her sons soccer game less than a year ago. Well done, Posh, can you please rewind?
