Falling on the heels of the “Extreme Cut-out” for summer is the extreme cut-out for fall. But of course! From keyholes to easy breezy anklets and that oh so popular peep-toe to signature geometrics, fall footwear looks like its following natures leads. With the weather staying warmer longer, it’s easier to get away with showing a little skin when it comes to your pre-winter wardrobe and designers are man handling this extra leeway with some very pretty shoes. The bootie is back, but this fall expect to see even more toe cleavage. Add that to the sex appeal of the ankle bone, ala Tashkent and the crown vamp, ala Chie Mihara, and you’ve got yourself a wardrobe chalked full of very trendy footwear. Nice!

Fall is bringing us into a jazzy old hollywood era, complete with flappers, Katherine Hepburn, and all the retro, cropped bobs and femme fatale menswear has to offer. These pretty cut-out peep-toe pumps from Daniblack are sexy in embossed snakeskin, but casual chic with there feminine bow accent and mini-heel. This is an inspired dance shoe and a comfortable one at that. Who knew that sexy and sweet could marry into such perfect synergy? Hmmm…maybe that’s a give in. This old hollywood glamour shoe is the best of both worlds and because it’s from Daniblack it’s actually quite affordable as well.

“Gucci and Dolce and Dior…”
“Oh, my!”
We’ve been hearing a lot about that darn extreme cutout sandal from Dior. It plays practically a supporting roll in the Sex and the City film and well, it’s just so darn pretty. We get it, we do! The reason it’s able to take such an important stance in the movie is because of it versatility…or more so the sheer brilliance and daring fashion sense of the shows fashion coordinator Patty Field. She’s the queen bee of fashion re-imagined.
“I figured we made a good match. I was adept at fashion; he was adept at politics. And really, what’s the difference? They’re both about recycling shop-worn ideas and making them seem fresh and inspiring.”
Here’s another Dior knockoff for those of you who can’t (or won’t) afford the real thing. You can get other replica’s at Bakers and Steve Madden.
