More color bleed action coming at you and this time it’s from Guess. How are we feeling about this trend? Shoedish is still trying to decide if it’s a go. These standard almond-toe pumps are pretty classic as far as lines and cut, but with the new color bleed effect, they have a bit of a unique twist. Unique isn’t always good. We haven’t been feeling the fade to white action of the majority of the color bleeds we’ve seen so far, but this fade to black is having better luck with us. Maybe we’ll change our minds tomorrow - we’re feeling particularly generous today - but we are digging the subtle switch-back on the heel.

Rose vamps are all in bloom this summer and Sam Edelman is doing it with a pop of color. These pretty casual thongs are a candy coated dream machine and the perfect addition to summer sun, beach bronzed skin, and yellow toes. Sam Edelman has a knack for making pretty feminine peeps and it’s no surprise that his casual summer footwear hits the mark as well. We’d feel summer happy and vacation ready if we owned these pretty blooms. Get those peds in tip top shape and dare to bare. Feet are the new boobs!

“Let’s talk about sex baby, let’s talk about you and me. Let’s talk abut all the good things and the bad things that may be. Let’s talk about sex.” Shoedish loves animal prints. There is just something so sex and rock n’ roll about them. The best part about having animal print on your shoes is that you can dress up any outfit with a serious pop - less is more - without being dreadfully gaudy. However, these Michael Kors are a hit and miss in shoedish’s animal-print book. It’s as if MK took a page from Jessica Simpson’s cast offs and though, hmmmm…let’s try that! Bad idea. These zebra-print platforms are just, well, not right. The heel is cheap, the front platform is throwing the whole thing off, and that ankle strap isn’t flattering on anyone. We’re not impresed. Thoughts? Opinions?
