Okay, so if we didn’t actually like these Steve Madden Dior knockoffs (with a twist) we’d just have to laugh, because seriously…
However, because we are hypocrites we really cannot talk ish, so for once we’re going to drop our SM bashing and talk about the good in these shoes. Why we love them? Let us count the ways. 1) Because extreme cut-out just works for our shoe tracked mind. 2) Because they’re cold hearted snakes…in color! 3) They cost a mere fraction of their designer counterparts. 4) Because they can’t really be “knockoffs” if they’re different, right?

The Victorian boot is back, but the 2008 remake takes this once coverup fashion mode to new extremes by adding a taste of sex. These Brazilian-inspired boots from Sergio Zelcer Designs, for example, gives ladies a taste of several of todays fashion trends, from lace-up bootie and snake-print to spectator shoe and, of course, Victorian boot. Jeepers, creepers, where’d you get them shoes!!?! Shoedish talks a lot about Old Hollywood et al - we’re always a fan of old meets new and the antique rewind - and these sexy boots bring a little Old English flavor to give us a sweet shoe dose of both.

And the Celebrity Shoe Star is…Catherine Zeta-Jones! CZJ loves her shoes; we absolutely understand honey. Catherine Zeta-Jones gets told off by her husband because of her shoe habit, admitting that she is often subjected to lectures from Michael Douglas about the amount of footwear she owns. has in her closet. “I have so many pairs of shoes - it’s ridiculous. Michael often takes me into my closet and says, ‘Could you explain to me why you have all these shoes?’ It’s because I travel a lot - and I have certain outfits that only go with certain shoes. That’s my excuse anyway! I love Christian Louboutins.” Boys just don’t understand (well, some boys do)! We welcome CZJ to the shoe love club. Shoe sluts unite!
