Kisco brogues

Though we’ve surprised even ourselves with this one, shoedish is liking these lace-up brogues from Kisco. They make us want to start talking in a British accent and wear lacy ankle socks exclusively (because then we’d be too cool for school like Agyness Deyn). These shoes make us want to use “dandy”, “bloody”, and “cheerio” in everyday speech, even though we’d sound silly and pretentious. Shoedish met this cute boy a couple months back who was from London - his name was Mark - and for the entire affair we could only refer to him as (insert fake British accent here) “Mark, from London!” What is it about the English…their accents and shoes are to die for! crocs vs skechers

Crocs joins the wave of infringement lawsuits this week accusing Sketchers of using similar Crocs designs in their own footwear. The complaint alleges that Skechers footwear that uses Nano Lite foam construction mimics Crocs designs and logos. “Skechers’ products,” the lawsuit said, “are substantially similar to several Crocs-issued design patents [and] bear a confusingly similar imitation of the Crocs’ trade dress. In short, they are knock-offs of well-known Crocs styles.” Crocs is seeking an injunction against Skechers, along with legal fees and other unspecified damages. Skechers response: “We believe this lawsuit is completely without merit and we will vigorously defend ourselves against such baseless accusations,” Here is one of the shoes in question. I don’t know Sketchers, they look pretty Croc-like to us. What are your thoughts on the infringement lawsuits?
