Here’s a nice pair of triple strap mary jane pumps from Boutique 9 at Nine West. You know how shodish feels about the mary jane and, of course, our devotion to the dual and triple-strap mary jane. In fact, this sexy pump has everything that shoedish loves, from the snakeskin and the peep-toe to the mary jane design and the triple-strap. These sandals are like the smooth operator of shoes; no matter how hard you try, you just cannot resist. It’s a good thing that shoedish’s one month shoe sobriety test is almost over, because we have a lot of shoe shopping catch up to do and it just might start with these.

One of shoedish’s favorite things is how shoes are named. We often wonder who is behind the sometimes bad and often times clever names of shoes. This is the reason that shoedish is often reminded of songs and song lyrics in her shoe searching and why, for example, we just can’t resist this:
“You take the grey skies out of my way. You make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day. Turned a bright spark into a flame. My beats per minute never been the same. ‘Cause you’re my lady, I’m your fool. It makes me crazy when you act so cruel. Come on, baby, let’s not fight. We’ll go dancing, everything will be all right.
Wake me up before you go-go. Don’t leave me hanging on like a yo-yo. Wake me up before you go-go. I don’t want to miss it when you hit that high. Wake me up before you go-go. ‘Cause I’m not plannin’ on going solo. Wake me up before you go-go. Take me dancing tonight. I wanna hit that high (yeah, yeah, baby).”
These ‘Jiter bug’ specatator shoe booties from GB at Dillards make us want to do the Jitterbug.

We know it’s difficult to think of winter boots when you’re sitting in your air conditioned apartment sweating (even harder if it’s not air conditioned), but we couldn’t not tell you about the new winter boot collection from Ed Hardy. “Hop aboard the fashion train in these ink-inspired tall shaft boots with fur collar” is what Bakers is saying about these heavy metal, yet pretty, winter boots for the 2008 - 09 cold season. These are the kind of boots that make you pray for snow! Available in 4 colors, including winter white, all with a uniquely different tattoo design, there’s sure to be a tattoo boot made just for you. From the father of the tattoo, available at Bakers!

Are you sick of us talking about boots and fall yet? I hope not, because there’s a lot more to come where fall fashion is concerned, starting with these lovely bones from Aldo. The Sami is a pretty little bootie that takes its cue from the oxford and spectator and, adding a little color print jam, has taken it to a whole new level. We’re loving the look of the plaid toe paired with the black patent capped toe and matching heel decor. These booties were made for fall and the best part is that you can wear them all the way into winter. While your visiting Aldo, buying these booties, don’t forget to check out there 50% off sale, where you’ll find deep discounts on other shoedish favorites, like these yellow fever platform pumps and mary janes.
