Shoedish found a new boyfriend and this guys makes our feet truly “glow”. Call us crazy, but shoedish actually likes these rather irregular shoes from Chanel. The best part is the heel bulb actually works. You’re probably wondering what happened to my boyfriend Moschino? That was a one, two punch love affair, right? Hmmm…well, Moschino is still in the picture, of course, he’s in the harem with the rest of the boys. We have a mutual understanding with all of our lovers - it’s important to be honest in relationships - and I’m sure you’ve realized by now that shoedish is a swinger. Hey, they’re all satisfying other ladies, so we too should find our way to all that satisfaction as well. The tag is “shoe love is true love”, but that doesn’t mean it’s monogamous. When it comes to shoes, I practice responsible non-monogamy. Shoe sluts unite!

Surprise! Here’s another shoe that shoedish is digging for fall. These sleek black pumps from Alexander McQueen are made famous by there triangle-joint mary jane straps and vintage-inspired ties. This is a little bit of modern extreme cut-out meets the classic mary jane and nothing beats a little old school wrapped in modern trendsetting. Shoedish is “diggin on you, diggin on me, baby babe oooh, baby, baby.” Hey, if Alexander McQueen can make the skulls and bones a positively sweet decorative accessory, were pretty sure that everything they’re trendsetting hands touch are going to be golden.

Talk about retro-chic! Here’s a mellow - or not so much - yellow kitten heel peep-toe pump from Marc Jacobs that looks like it was pulled straight out of the 80s. Excuse me Marc, but Tiffany called and she says she wants her sole back. These look like something you’d pull out of a dollar or euro store, garage sale, or from that bizarre penny saver store downtown. We love Marc Jacobs, but we’re not feeling this yellow submarine. We can’t lie about our distaste for the kitten heel, but this shoe is committing all sorts of shoe sins. Thoughts? Opinions? If we see Lindsay Lohan wearing these with lacey ankle socks and a pair of leggings from her personalized collection with a low slung belt, we may projectile vomit all over our mary janes…”honest to blog”.

Shoedish is loving on Chie Mihara this season and these pretty boots are only one reason why. The fall collection is full of everything you need to make a trendsetting impression this season from chunky heels and classic mary janes to extreme cutouts and 18th century “old world” charm. These tight-calf slouchy ankle boots from Chie Mihara are a new shoedish favorite where boots are concerned and will look great paired with skinny jeans and mini dresses. Additionally, they’ll pair especially well with this seasons cropped leather biker jackets.

We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again. You don’t have to match your shoes and bags to be a superstar fashionista, but if you tread lightly and carefully, it’s possible to pull off the matchy match without looking…well, too matchy match. These sunshine yellow peep-toe slingbacks from Nine West are a delicious little ode to Heathers and the matching yellow clutch, also from Nine West, is sending us back to the 80s as well. Are we seeing a trend forming today? While some things are better left in the past, both of these items should be worn in the present. There is a time and place for vintage. We’re thinking that yellow might be a little too loud when it comes to matching your shoes and handbags, but who knows, there must be a shoe gal pal out there who can pull it off, which is after all, the beauty of fashion.
