Shoedish is always on the lookout for a great pair of wear everywhere wedges and these basket-weave wedge sandals from Colin Stuart at Victoria Secret are just what the doctor ordered. For one thing, they’re crazy affordable, but the the best part is that they’re uber versatile and come in all the best shades for summer. The strap-happy vamp is knotted together at the center for some sweet and beach casual appeal, while the t-strap adds a little bit of shoedish’s favorite accessorizing and a sleek center. We’re a huge fan of red, but right now we’re digging on the khaki/off-white of the neutral, because that would look super sweet with bronzed summer skin.

The shoe love returns!! Okay, enough with all that Lanvin drama and the Terrible Tuesday, here is a shoe to love and appreciate. And when we say heel love, we’re literally talking about the heel here. Prada started the Fairy Tale trend and by golly geez, they’re determined to end it as well. These pretty fabric-flap stilettos are a gorgeous venture through the looking glass. Shoedish was drinking absinthe a few days back and we’re pretty sure we saw these pumps in the subsequent convoluted dream sequence. When we hallucinate we tend to dream in shoes…are you surprised? These pretty peeps are available now at Saks and are a part of the Prada Runway Collection so get them while supplies last.

Okay, so I know that we’re going to catch a lot of flack for this one, but shoedish is in love with these orange motor booties from Giuseppe Zanotti. Basically, when it comes to GZ, they can do no wrong. In fact, if we were in the business of picking favorites, Giuseppe Zanotti might be in the top 3, but since we like to keep our options open, we’re just going to settle with giving these Indy 500 booties a six stiletto salute, which as you know is a top honor here at The Shoe Dish. These are what we’d call one-of-a-kind and there’s nothing more satisfying than that. Get to www.shoebungalow.com and get to your checkered flag before the other bootie lovers beat you to the finish line.

Oh Lanvin, how I’ve loved thee. What? You want me to count the ways? Sorry, when you shove something this gross in our face, we have very little desire to sing your praises. After everything we’ve been through together, how can you possibly explain this? We’re shocked and appalled, but more than anything we’re just weary and disappointed. Who exactly is supposed to wear this shoe? Really? Why? Why? You call this a platform gladiator? Gladiator? It looks more like a cheap patent t-strap that lost half its sole. A glorified nurses shoe? No, not even that excuses it. I never ever thought that Lanvin would make it into our “Terrible Tuesday”, but alas, there is a first time for everything. Next thing you know, Shia Lebouf’s going to be in rehab with Ali Lohan…er wait, we guess that’s not so unexpected.

And the Celebrity Shoe Star is…Paris Hilton! All hail ‘Can’ the master of the Celebrity Shoe Star! So, we know there are a lot of people out there who despise the heiress Paris, but for every person who hates her there is another who loves her. Shoedish’s opinion will remain anonymous, you know how we feel about talking celebrity shiz…hahahahahahaha! No, but for reals ya’ll, Paris is a serious actress, singer, and designer. Ain’t no nepotism going on in here. We will admit that she has great taste in shoes, though this fact is marred by her unfortunately large foot, and the fact she seems to be plagued with calluses and cysts caused by excessive stiletto wearing. Oh the way we ladies will suffer for our shoes. Oh, she also has her own shoe line, which doesn’t really mean anything. Anyway, we were serious about that new movie she’s in called Repo, The Genetic Opera. Call us crazy, but it looks freakin’ coolio!
