The great thing about this very trendy look is that there are so many places you go with it. It’s great with just about anything, from funking up those dressy outfits with a little edginess, picking up your ordinary jeans and tank numbers with some flavor, and even pairing down a very slick office outfit. OMG!!! Shoedish has found her new favorite shoe! That statement just never gets old. These pretty, no gorgeous, no absolutely yummy - help me out here with some exclamatory words of praise - shoes from Bakers are sumptuously delectable!!!!!!! How many exclamation points are too much? This is that trendy oxford style we’ve been talking about with a little bit of hobo chic mixed in and we absolutely LOVE it! One of the best things about these pretty lace-up shoe booties is that they look expensive, but they’re actually quite affordable. We’ve been doing a lot of boot scootin’ previews for this years trends in all things boot, from the ever-present bootie and the cut-out shoe bootie to the knee-high boot and the comeback of mid-knee boot, but what’s really making a statement for fall boot fashion is Western Chic. They’re back, my shoe friends. We weren’t huge fans of the cowboy boot look back in the early 2000s, but we are liking the indian revival that is pairing up for this seasons reinterpretation. Cowboy and Indian Chic certainly makes a good team and the designers have thrown their cowboy hats in the rings on this one. These pretty fringe stiletto sandals from Bebe take all the best parts of the moccasin and throw in a little flirty fringe for good measure.

And the Celebrity Shoe Stars are…it’s those sexy boys from one of shoedish’s favorite and admittedly rather ridiculous shows, Gossip Girl. The best show EVER!!!! OMFG!!! So, it may be wholly inappropriate to lust as we do after these young studs, but we have a tiny crush on Ryan Sheckler to, so who are we kidding here. Penn Badgley is the boy we all wished we knew in high school and who clearly does not exist, while Chace Crawford has the prettiest eyes we’ve ever seen and Ed Westwick? Well, if a guy is capable of making you look past all of that really bad stuff (and we mean bad…does everyone forget that he tried to rape young Jenny in the priemiere episodes) than he must have something going on. Shoes? Oh yeah, that’s what this post was about….

What can we say about these sexy peep-toe shoe boots from Gucci that they haven’t already said for themselves. This is modern luxury stealing a page from vintage fashion and we love, love, love. These Gucci booties painted the Gucci summer runway shows in black, pink, and gold (as shown) and they sold out so quickly at the department stores that half of us were caught standing with out feet in the air…if you know what I mean. Luckily, the eBay spies have caught a few hideaways. Get them while you can. Once the shoe fiends find them, they’ll be gone!

We’ve been getting tons of requests for the sandal booties that Rachel Bilson has been spotted wearing on a number of occasions. We love them too! These 80s inspired sandal booties from Maison Martin Margiela - a Belgian designer who may be more famously known for his handbags - will put a little edgy kick in your sexy step. Margiela worked for Jean-Paul Goultier before starting his accessories line in the late 80s. We’re thinking that he’s gone back to his freshman designer roots for these Footloose and fancy free, dance inspired sandal booties. Available at eLuxury for $595.
