Want to look like Dita von Teese for a mere fraction of the price? That’s what we thought. Visit Platicland.com for all the latest and greatest in retro and Old Hollywood fashion. We’re in particularly good spirits after scanning the shoe collection at Plasticland, which is full of shoe lover fashion galore. These pretty platform mary janes are the retro version of that famous modern shoe from YSL they like to call the ‘Tribute’. These platforms are complete with red patent leather, thick plaid piping, a thin mary jane strap, and that exotic dancing sized stiletto. This is Betty Boop singing in a human-sized martini glass pinup material and we like it!

There just isn’t anything better than the perfect pair of flats and these pretty heavy metal ballerinas from Wink NYC are competing for space in our closet. These pretty flats look like sterling silver and that’s some serious foot jewelry if you ask us. Remember the days before ballerina flats? I know, it’s hard to imagine, but there actually was a time when ballerina flats were not a popular foot accessory. Ballerinas were originally inspired by, what else, the ballerina slipper and were traditionally heelless. They’re certainly grown since those early days, but the classic shape remains relatively untouched. Flats most certainly serve an important purpose in the shoe world, even we can admit, and they’ve even won over our stiletto slut ways. These silver ballerinas from NYC will be the perfect shiny addition to your fall shoedrobe.

Now here is another designer that shoedish just loves!!! Gil Carvalho has some of the prettiest, feminine, and unique shoes around. These purple pumps are a rather simple and classic pump from the collection, but you can see what makes Gil Carvalho so wonderfully unique. This round-toe pump takes color blocking to a whole new level. The original idea behind color blocking was to take each of the bold shoe parts and create them using a different color or texture, which would inevitably make each part stand alone. Gil Carvalho has said no to the old color blocking trend and blended his color changes throughout the body of the shoes. Each purple shade here is separated with gold piping, which we love, and the half d’orsay makes for the sudden role call of sex.
