We never thought that we’d be giving anything that Juicy Couture does a two thumbs up, but we’re actually liking some of the new comfort series line of shoes they’ve recently launched. From feminine ballet flats to comfortable slippers, those Juicies know how to make you feel good. These suede slippers from the designers who turned butt labeling into a trendy fashion accessory are tempting shoedish’s tootsies. They’re a great little slipper, at least if $150 jewel embellished fur slip-ons are what you’re into. These apple red clog slippers are fit for a queen or princess, whichever your preferred hierarchy. Available at Saks for a mere arm and a leg…they would probably accept heads too.

And the Celebrity Shoe Star is…Madonna! Mother Madge has been a lover of shoes and fashion since she started her infamous career back in the 80s and the woman still knows how to pick her peds, which is more than we can say for some of her outfits, but that’s a whole other story. Not only does this woman own the coveted Angel Christian Dior pumps that may possibly be shoedish’s all-time favorite shoe EVER, but she is quite simply the hard-knock queen when it comes to just about everything. Forget the tabloids, the talks of affairs, the awkward relationships she seems to have with far too many young starlets…shoedish doesn’t care about all that. All we need to know is “do they have great shoes?” and when it comes to Madonna, she’d just shoe dead on!

Don’t ever accuse shoedish of being a lazy poster. We realize that there have been a few snags and bumps along the rode these last few months, but we promise it’s all for the good of the website in the long run as we work toward providing you with more and better shoe news. Yesterday, shoedish sat in the parking lot of a library for four hours while we bummed the free internet from the main frame (the library was closed, which is why we had to sit in the car). Oh yeah, we’re that dedicated!!! Just to pat ourselves on the back a little more, we might add that we’re sicker than a dog right now. Shoedish has caught the dreaded summer cold - you know the one that is impossible to shake - and have been hacking up a lung for the last three days. Don’t you feel sorry for us? You can help us feel better by buying us these pretty strappy velvet platform stilettos from Christian Louboutin! Forget chicken noodle soup, show us the shoes!!!
