Sarah Palin is a Naughty Monkey

Shoedish is not what you’d call a Sarah Palin fan. In fact, we couldn’t even be considered tolerant of a woman who is against sex education and women’s reproductive rights…But, since The Shoe Dish is not a politically powered blog - Obama Biden 2008!!! - we’re just going to ignore all the hypocrisy (hahahahaha) and point out that what Sarah Palin lacks in value and character, she is trying to make up for in shoe style. Hey, if we can call Paris Hilton and Paula Abdul “celebrity shoe stars” we can say that Palin has good taste in shoes too. Shoedish already knows how hypocritical she is anyway. With that said, we’re giving the Republican vice presidential candidate two thumbs up for picking these super cute peep-toe pumps from Naughty Monkey. At least when she loses in November (knock on wood) she’ll be losing in style.

The new collection from Hollywood’s favorite designer has hit the stores and our sweet tooth has been outmatched by our need for a flavor kick. Shoedish believes that all shoes are a gift and these pumps have made that idea their muse. Crocs are bad for you? Sorry kids, but haven’t we been trying to tell you this for quite some time. Haha! A new study shows that Crocs might not be the awesomely perfect casual comfort shoes everyone hopes and dreams they are and parents have taken note. The National Institute of Technology and Evaluation, a consumer safety group, has reported 40 incidents in which people have been injured while wearing Crocs. Apparently Crocs and escalators just don’t mix. One five-year-old girl broke her middle toe and had three of her toenails ripped off after her shoe was stuck on an escalator. Six others, mostly children and some as young as two, were mildly injured. Okay, so maybe Crocs themselves aren’t really that dangerous…just be careful when you’re wearing the clogs on moving stairs. I wonder how many people are injured each month wearing stilettos?
