Ingelmo is no stranger to design. A young, Cuban-American, whose family is packed full of three generations of experience in the shoe trade has taken his knowledge of vintage and injected it with a dose of pop culture. While Alejandro Ingelmo is making waves with his basket-weave hi-tops for men, we’re focussing on his colorful brights, platforms, and shine injected women’s footwear line. Could this be the beginning of a beautiful friendship between the sophomore designer and his faithful shoe followers? Shoedish certainly thinks so.
