And here we thought we’d given you an easy one. The Celebrity Shoe Star is…Rachel Bilson. So, she may have fallen off the face of the earth since her stint as Summer Roberts on The OC, but we still think she’s got a great shoe collection. We’d be perfectly happy living a life on the D-List if we could still wear spiked booties by Christian Louboutin to the grocery store. One of our favorite things about this celebrities shoe wardrobe is her massive designer boot collection. From riding boots and biker boots to feminine booties and rock ‘n’ roll cut-out styles, we think she might have every single boot we’ve ever coveted. Suddenly, we’re beginning to hate and resent her.

Boots, boots, and more boots! It’s fall people and you know what that means, it’s time to get down and dirty with fall boot trends. We’ve been foreshadowing the war of the boots for awhile now, but it’s time to saddle up and start stomping. It’s one thing to talk about something; it is wholly another to do something about it. Shoedish woke this morning to hard rain, swift winds, and cold weather. It was so cold, in fact, that our heater went on. That’s when it hit us, it is so time for boots!!! You know all about the bootie and we’ve been throwing knee-high boots at you as well, but a look we’ve been neglecting to some extent is the over-the-knee boot. Years ago, this boot was reserved exclusively for Halloween costumes, prostitutes, and exotic dancers, but the sexual revolution and plain common sense has put them front row and center with luxury shoe heaven. These sexy and chic over-the-knee boots from Manolo Blahnik are the creme de la creme of boot fashion. Outfitted with buckle straps and in a sleek biker babe leather, these boots are befitting of every trend currently on fashions radar. It’s too bad about those massive heal blisters we got this weekend; they’re not making it very easy to ride the boot wave.

There is hardly a fashion season that doesn’t have some sort of ode to what these slithering skins can do to an items sex appeal and this fashion season is no different.
