Check this shoe out? We likey, likey!!! Not sure what the masses will think, but shoedish is going to go ahead and say, HOLLA!!!! This is some fringy fabulousness that we are loving! It is possible to go too far with fringe, but today we’re feeling very supportive of this cowboy chic, indian sleek suede hair look. From Jeffrey Campbell - va va voom, give me some suede peep-toe loving - comes these bushy-fringed t-strap sandals. This gaudy platform is all about the Bohemain chic and we don’t see nothin’ wrong with a little 60s platform action. Complete with the iconic cone heel and double-strapped ankle security, these fringe frenzy sandals have hit the ‘It’ list according to us. Available at David Z for the sale price of $75.

Another shoe warehouse bites the dust. Footwear News is reporting that after 29 years, discount shoe warehouse, Shoe Pavillion, has confirmed it is closing the rest of its stores located throughout New Mexico, California, Washington, and Oregon. This news comes on the heels of other big warehouse department stores, like Mervyns, going-out-of-business as well. “It is always tough to close down stores, but consumers will benefit from the extreme discounts on every item in the store until all the merchandise is sold,” said Danny Kane, managing member of Tiger Capital Group, in the statement. In the company-wide liquidation effort, all Shoe Pavilion locations will be offering going-out-of-business sales to its consumers. Is it just us, or does it feel icky to take advantage of a going-out-of-business sale?

And the Celebrity Shoe Star is…Jennifer Aniston. We’re not the absolute, most biggest fans, of Jennifer Aniston. This is not to say that we have any problem with her, in general, it’s just that she seems a little boohoo and pouty all the time. From what people say she’s fantastic, but without knowing her personally we can only go with our gut. That said, we think that JA has gotten a rotten deal. Shoedish has no sympathy for cheaters. We can’t imagine what it must be like to have your breakup broadcast across the entire world and then be slapped in the face with it over and over and over again. It’s much more than a “sensitivity chip” that’s missing there. But, we think that Aniston has pulled it together, at least on the exterior. Here’s a women who covets casual classics from Michael Kors, owns more wedges and espadrilles than we’ve seen in our lives, and knows how to show off her gorgeous gams with barely-there strappy sandals. Well played, JA!

There’s no shoe quite like a Christian Louboutin shoe and this pretty, feminine, red bow-vamp, slingback is only one example of that coveted Louboutin fantasy. These pumps make us dream in Christmas - shoedish loves the holidays - and all the pretty colors of winter. Cold weather parties, whether they be your companies Christmas party or your best friends New Year’s bash, beg for a shoe like this. What we love about these feminine heels is the color contrast of the red tones. This is color blocking for the style elite. Christian Louboutin has stepped away from stacked heel, hidden platform, peep-toes for a moment to channel the sophisticated style of Kate Spade and created a lovely little red pump that will transcend the ages. A classic? Might we be so bold?

Shoedish just fell truly, madly, deeply…in love with a really pretty shoe. What? Are you really all that surprised? Figures that it is a shoe that we, even in our wildest fantasies, could never justify purchasing. It’s been awhile since we’ve discussed Jimmy Choo on this blog and it isn’t for the lack of a pretty collection under our noses. These peep-toe booties, however, refused to be ignored. There are just so many things about this bootie that we love, from the rich blue color and the suede wrapping to the miniature stud detailing and the almost 5-inch heel. The heel zipper at the back of these studly peep-toe booties and the toe cleavage from the open-toe adds just enough sex appeal to a mostly covered up little bootie.
