Our first reaction to this was, “Say What?” following by a “No, really, what is that?” followed by a fit of hysterical laughter. It was one of those moments that you just wish you could have shared with the person sitting in the cubicle next door, but when you work from home, you just curl up into a ball and start laughing solo while your dog tilts his head trying to figure out if it is he has instigated this outburst. Katie Price is famous for her dual personality, Jordan, and she decided to display both, at once, while promoting her new ‘Haircare Range’. Influence by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, is a glossy creata-collection filled with interviews and photos from top celebrity stylists and designers who have “influenced” the girls over the years. Will people really buy a $40 picture book of celebrities interviewing other celebrities? Well, shoedish could care less about the book, but we’re always happy to see what the billionaire twins have on their feet. Their book signing at Barnes and Nobles had the twins rocking some serious platform pumps from YSL and how cute, they even match, choosing contrasting grey and black like the yin and yang they truly are. These girls prove that when you rich and famous, you can do whatever the hell you want.

Versatile Zoom from Nike

We’re not sure where all this b-ball support is coming from, but shoedish has been bombarded lately with news of limited edition performance basketball shoes. The latest is from Nike who will launch the Zoom Lebron VI performance basketball shoe today, Friday, October 31st. Lebron James worked closely with Nike’s designer, Ken Link, to create a shoe that would meet his his performance needs, which meant increasing the length of the Zoom Air so that it reaches the mid-sole. The shoe also has a double-stacked Zoom Air unit, which will help ease the transition in movement. Nike said in a statement that the shoe was created to embody the strength, passion, and vision that James exhibits on the court. Lebron James, along with the US Men’s basketball team, won the gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Aha! That’s wear the basketball love is coming from!
