Now this is what we call the perfect boot. YUMMY!! These buttery soft, knee-high leather boots from Bally are made from the creamiest, smoothest, and softest nappa leather you can get for footwear. The classic style, subtle color, and endless possibilities make these boots the kind of shoe you can and will wear forever. Unfortunately a boot this pretty has a price to match and at $870, they’re merely a fantasy in some hypothetical future we can barely even begin to imagine. We’re all about splurging on versatile classics, but shoedish has to pay the rent ya’ll.

Haha! Like you didn’t see this one coming. How long has it been since shoedish did a green shoe post? Too long, apparently. These emerald green strappy pumps from Chloe are complete with a keyhole peep-toe and criss cross mary jane and dolly straps. The criss cross quarter straps are a seasonal trend and while in most cases it’s used to elongate the leg by creating a bare opening on the quarter, this trick is lost in the upper mary jane straps, so instead they’re simply an additional accessory. We love the color, of course, but we’re also digging on the heel loop compartment. With all the mod moody colors for fall and winters fashion palette, you’ll be begging for some color to pep up your wardrobe. Step out in classic style with a modern color blast! Available at Net-a-Porter for $695.

Did we ever tell you about our problem with obsession? Okay, so you know about the shoe thing, but we also suffer from brand obsession. For example, if we begin to like a certain designer and their collection is seamlessly flawless than we can’t help but obsess over them…like, for months. It’s happened with Giuseppe Zanotti, Jenne O, Christian Louboutin, Betsey Johnson, Christian Dior, and Eley Kishimoto, among others and now it’s happening with L.A.M.B. We’re totally shoe stocking the brand and if they don’t stop leading us on with designs like these two-tone, pebble-grain, open-toe stilettos we might be involved in a crime of passion. Complete with beaded-tip laces and a 5-inch heel, these sexy oxford reinterpretations are worthy of obsession.

Shoedish likes to venture round the discount shoe stores every once in awhile to see what’s hot to trot for affordable footwear and one of our favorite affordable shoe stockists comes from Chadwick’s. We’re always surprised at how stylish their styles and designs are, from classic pumps and mary janes to colorful peep-toes and sleek knee-high boots, that not only satisfy images of sophistication, but some flavorful fun as well. We did not, however, expect these. Chadwick’s does ombré? It looks like the footwear team took a page from naughty Monkey to design these square-toe ombré pumps for the fall collection. When we first spotted them, we were like Uh, oh, but they’ve actually kind of grown on us. These colorful, color-fade pumps take standard to a whole new level and would add the little pop you need to boring business attire. Available in green, blue, brown, and grey for $39.99.
