It’s been awhile since we talked about Eley Kishimoto, our designer obsession from last year, but we thought it was due time for a update. These lightning bolt, yellow and grey, pumps from Eley Kishimoto are currently available at the EK blowout sale going on at Zappos.com. Are they super delicious or awfully dorktastic? You decide. We’re usually big proponents of the mercantile gone designer behind the Eley Kishimoto brand, but these peep-toe pumps are feeling a little bit too Anime for our tastes. We love dressing up, but we’d prefer to avoid looking like we stepped out of a super hero cartoon.

And the Celebrity Shoe Star is…Sarah Michelle Gellar! Buffy is back! At least that’s what Maxim calls Sarah Michelle Gellar’s 2008 comeback. The Buffy the Vampire Star whose most famous movie was the pre-Gossip Girl, Cruel Intentions, has stepped back onto the Hollywood red carpet for a whirlwind 2008! After marrying her actor beau, Freddie Prince Jr., the blonde beauty has stayed out of the spotlight the last few years, but a few indies in 2007 and a rumored slam dunk for 2008, it would seem that a few years off the silver screen does an actress good. Sarah has been showing up at promotions, events, and fashion shows dressed like a million bucks and with a solid shoe collection filled with Christian Louboutin staples and Dior trends, this celebrity has a shoe collection to match her 2008 run.
