Yesterday shoedish received a disturbing email from a friend. She’d stumbled across the most pretty of the heel love pretty shoes and after debating long and hard over buying them, walked away empty-handed. Holy heel love, L, have we not raised you better? The worst part about this shoe travesty is that L has the perfect excuse and rationalization tool, in the shoedish rule book, for buying a new pair of shoes. Besides the fact that she is smart with her money in general, she is partaking in a half-month worth of wedding blitz extravaganza. What’s one of the best reasons for buying a new pair of shoes? A wedding! Not that you even need a good excuse, when faced with Oh, Deer! heels that are this pretty. Buy the shoes, L!

Shoedish is the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt of shoes. Seriously! Our collection is getting to the point of “OUT OF CONTROL”. Just the other day, we were debating on making a spare room in our house into a shoe closet and with all the pretty boots and platforms for fall and winter, the problem doesn’t seem to be getting any better any time soon. Shoedish has a crush on these pretty metallic gold and brown suede platforms from Jessica Simpson. If they asked us out on a date, we’d probably start dreaming of our wedding day. Yeah, it’s that bad. These shoes, in their own bizarre shoedish-brain kind of way, argue in support of our belief that you just can’t fake it when it comes to making sweet shoe love and all other literal forms of making…and love.

If you were to buy two pairs of shoes this weekend, which two would you buy? Shoedish was faced with this very dilemma this morning when we visited Bakers, where this weekend only, Bakers is pulling a Payless with their ‘Buy One Get One’ clearance sale. Looking to buy a new pair of shoes this weekend? Go to Bakers! After scouring the shoe collection and debating long and hard, we decided on these two shoes to add to our growing brood. These dolly mary jane criss cross platforms are a simple ode to this seasons mod trend and the boots…well, do we even need to explain the purple knee-high boot choice? This weekend Bakers is doing BOGO; get 50% off a pair of shoes when you buy the first at regular price. LOVE IT! Enter the code ‘Reddot11’ at checkout to receive your discount.
