Okay, so we realize that today is turning into quite the expensive shoe day. Do you see what we mean about the median cost of designer shoes and how its growing and growing and growing? If you have $1,195, which I know is just pocket change to most of us, than you’ll need to be jumping on the pre-order luxury shoe wagon at Neiman Marcus to get a chance at these sexy satin quadruple-strapped stilettos from Manolo Blahnik. Manolo is one of the premier shoe designers on the planet and we would love to own a pair of his lovely shoes, but $2,000 for a pair of shoes? That’s 4 months rent in shoedish’s blue collar, affordable world. It’s actually painful for us to imagine spending that kind of money on a pair of shoes. What if they scuffed or God forbid the fabric tore. If we owned these shoes, we’d be too afraid to wear them…too afraid to take them out of the box!
