When shoedish went to college, we were designer dumb. All the girls were wearing Tiffany bracelets and carrying around Loius Vuitton bags and we’d never even heard of these things. We’re being real; like dead serious. We’ve always had a serious passion for shoes, don’t get us wrong, but coming from a small town we had very little knowledge of big-name designer brands. Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger was our couture limit. That said, Kate Spade came into our lives around the time of our designer shock college days, as we slowly became well-versed in all things designer and serious couture. We were never huge fans of her boxy, clean, and simple designs, but over the years we’ve learned to appreciate her classic style. Recently her shoes have taken on a different role.
