And the Celebrity Shoe Star is…Lily Allen. The award goes to Can once again!! We like to think of Lily Allen as the Britney Spears of Britain, though she’s had her Amy Winehouse moments as well. Talk about back to black. We have high hopes for the British Pop Princess who’s moods seem to fluctuate as much as her weight. If Brit Brit can get back on top, so too can Allen. Aside from her massive fits of unfitness, she has an extraordinarily unique and splendid shoe collection. Damn those famous people! At least if shoedish had pretty shoes, she’d treat them with the respect and love they so deserve. But we digress, because this post is about commending a lovely shoe collection and Lily Allen’s simply makes us “smile”.

Nine West sandals for winter

It seemed only appropriate that with the record snow fall on the East Coast and Christmas only 2 days away that we begin our Christmas Eve Eve Day with a sandal post. You see, shoedish is flying to balmy Phoenix, Arizona to spend the holidays with her big bro (okay, so maybe not balmy, but compared to Detroit) and we’re planning on wearing flip flops just to spite the winter. Actually, if we’re being honest, shoedish is a tad bit sad that we won’t be having a white Christmas, though Christmas with Brother Shoedish all but negates that White Christmas nostalgia. These acid dream Woodstock reminiscent platform sandal clogs will be taking the place of holiday snowball fights and cocoa by the crackling fire. Who really needs a white Christmas, when you have pretty shoes to make you smile? For those of you experiencing the brutal cold, grab your favorite pair of sexy heels; they’re certain to keep you warm.
