We were just thinking the other day about how it’s been a really long time since we posted anything about our dear friend Marc Jacobs, so when we stumbled across these spectator pumps while browsing Yoox this morning, we were taken aback at once. Marc Jacobs has long been celebrated for his reinterpretive style, laying claim to the comeback of the mary jane, but his designs have a fashion forward vibe as well and these shoes embody the modernist side of this designer extraordinaire. Maybe it’s just us, but do these shoes look a little bit AI? There’s something we just can’t put our finger on, as if these shoes are virtual. It’s like the feeling you get when you see a gorgeous horizon and for a moment think that you’re looking at a painting. Luckily these lace-up pumps are real and you know what else is real, they’re on sale. Hooray!!!

Shoedish got some very sad information last week. We’ve been pretending that it wasn’t real - burying our head in the sand, if you will - until we realized that there is no denying it. Prison Break, and the gorgeous reason we started watching the show in the first place, is coming to an end.
