Is it just us or are these new Tory Burch sandals looking awfully familiar? We know that designers are all about reinterpreting classic style and reinventing the iconic looks of days gone by, but there’s very little being reinterpreted here. Besides the abstract fabric on the sole and the obnoxious TB brooch on the vamp, these are pretty knock-offy to us. For a designer getting as much accolades and bucco bucks as Tory Burch, we’d expect to see something a little more unique. These look virtually identical to Dr. Scholl’s iconic wood slide sandal. Anyone? Knockoff designers get sewed for stealing inspired creations, right? We’re just saying. The “Dixon” from Tory Burch is cute, we’ll admit, but so is the original Dr. Scholl’s. Just to note, Dr. S has much cheaper options as well.

What can we say about L.A.M.B. that they don’t already make clear all on their own. We know that boots can be a bit of a mixed bag, but these rather distinctive - the definition of L.A.M.B. Footwear designs - are a classic reinterpretation of this Victorian gone Atomic Age ankle boot. The ‘Rosebury’ is a bootie that redefines what it means to be sophisticated, structured and trendy. Alas, it can be done my shoe friends! These boots feature a number of 2009 trend report features like a cap toe, stacked heel, and row upon row of button embellishments, but the best part about these boots from L.A.M.B. has to be the price. For just $ you can get your pair of versatile boots to be worn with that brand new cocktail mini or your favorite skinning jeans. Check out the grey version as well. Shoedish thinks they’re even cuter than these all black ones and they’re also CHEAPER…but they only have size 9.5 left, so hurry!!! Visit www.endless.com
to get your own pair!

Oak NYC is a store we came across a few months back, but have somehow forgotten to add to our browsing list. It’s like Boston Legal and How I met Your Mother. Every tome we catch these shows, we love them, yet we neglect to set our Tivo to tape them. Its just one of those things, I guess. Anyway, when we do remember to check them out, we’re always pleasantly surprised by the selection. Delicious treats for your feet, that’s the Oak NYC way. These super sexy, bondage-inspired, booties from Dolce Vita are only the tip of the iceburg if you ask us. Complete with a a yoyo of straps that wrap from ankle to toe, these patent peep-toes are a luxury of mass proportions. Available for $76 at Oak NYC.

We usually bombard you weekly with Betsey Johnson footwear, but lately we’ve been laying off the eclectic designer. We’re happy to announce that the hiatus is over, though, because we’ve found another shoe we just had to share. These pretty round-toe pumps from one of our favorite brands are sassy, feminine, and cute. Complete with scalloped-side mary jane strap loops and an oversized ribbon to solidify that schoolgirl look, these girly pumps will give you a great start to your second semester. To finish off the “pretty”, the pumps interior has been decorated with Betsey Johnson’s infamous polka dot design. Ooh, la, la! Get your Betsey Johnson fix with these pretty pumps, available at www.endless.com
