One of shoedish’s all time favorite pairs of shoes has to be a pair that Momma Shoedish found for us while searching the sales rack of a Macy*s store in Georgia. They were red suede, round-toe pumps with an oversized hot pink flower brooch adorning the vamp. The description makes it hard to imagine the sheer perfection of these sassy pumps, but trust us, they were and are fabulous. These funky and bold pumps are reminiscent of the cheer and charm we felt from those other Chinese Laundry pumps years ago. . And the Celebrity Shoe Star is…Isla Fisher!!! Shoedish has such a girl crush on this lovely Middle Eastern born, Aussie raised actress, model, and writer. That’s right, writer!! Did you know that Isla has published two best-selling novels? Very cool; major props! Isla Fisher may be most well know for her role as the semi-psycho sister who falls in love with Vince Vaughn on Wedding Crashers or as Borat’s baby’s momma. She is also often confused with Amy Adams (another girl crush of shoedish), but we love her for her cute and casual everyday style and ability to transform when the occasion presents itself.
