Wait a second, when we first saw these shoes, we thought they were for babies or children. What size is that sample photo taken from? We were much more excited about them when we thought they were kid’s shoes. Like we say, shoes always look cuted in miniature. The Thirtytwo - Nova 09 W (White/Gold) - Footwear

So, as you all know, shoedish is on the hunt for her BFF’s wedding shoes. We hate to admit it, but we are failing miserably. This is usually our forte - we like to think of ourselves as the shoe genie - but this current search has left our lamp tarnished and our steam evaporated. It’s really stressing us out!!! Shoedish has a serious fear of failure and this should be a simple task. How can we remain queen of shoetopia if we can’t even find a decent pair of white nuptial shoes? To quell the nightmares and shoezilla wars invading our heads, we’ve taken to viewing and petting casual sandals and flats. These pretty ankle-wrap gladiator-inspired flats from Anthropologie are the perfect cure to our wedding shoe dilemma.

Hmmm…shoedish is actually kind of impressed! We accidentally stumbled across Tory Burch’s website this morning on our search to find a jumpsuit/romper for the summer, and were pleasantly surprised. Not that we have anything against the socialite turned designer, but we’ve always been underwhelmed with her collection, the bizarre attraction to the ballerina flat that made her famous, and all those Hampton’s private club fashions. That said, we’re impressed by the current shoe collection, that boasts natural fabrics infused with pops of color, gladiator-esque sandals, and wedges. These high heel slide sandals are channeling the huarache, bold color, and braided natural trends for summer 2009 and shoedish likey.

Earlier this week, we posted these very hot shoes from Boutique 9 at Nine West. A few days later, we stubled across these super luxe and super expensive platforms from Giuseppe Zanotti. So, they’re not identical twins, we know, but they’re very similar is style and design, so we thought we’d throw it out there to the shoe loving masses. The Women's shoes: Giuseppe Zanotti E90286 - Black patent and nude
vs Women's shoes: Boutique 9 Voula - Natural and black multi
. Which would you prefer? We have to say that we’d pick the Boutique 9’s on price alone, but we maybe even like them a teensy bit more. Uh oh, oh no you didn’t just choose an affordable brand over a designer. Oh yes, we did!
