Happy post Easter Wednesday, shoe fiends. We just remembered that we forgot to wish you a Happy Easter, so we hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend, found the golden egg, and are ready for the fighting finish to this year’s tax season. Shoedish just finished her taxes this weekend. We’re not usually one to procrastinate about this kind of thing, but this year we just couldn’t get it together. In fact, we procrastinated so long this time around that we started considering what would happen if we just neglected to file at all. Suppose it’s like all things, really, and since we believe wholeheartedly in karma, not filing would be a very bad idea. So, in honor of filing just in time and even though we’re not getting any money back, we think we should honor our accomplishment with a new pair of shoes and these platform summer sandals from Guess seems to be the perfect gift. Happy 2008 tax season! We hope you are all able to file in time.
