Were you getting worried that we’d forgotten about the bridesmaid shoe hunt? I’m sure you were, but don’t worry, shoedish has not forgotten. Just stumbled across these pretty studded pumps from Michael Kors and are liking the studs. We wouldn’t normally consider a studded heel for the formal occasion, but the simple cage made by criss-crossing straps and limited stud details give them a more elegant look than the normal rock ‘n’ roll heel created by “studs”. Still not sure they’d work with our dress, but another option on the board. Available at Saks for $375.

The trends for summer 2009 are less than soft.
