Nine West and Kurt Geiger are teaming up to bring the Nine West brand and its sister company, Easy Spirit, into the international market. Yesterday, the two companies announced that they will be entering into a seven-year pact. The partnership will lead the brands into two new, key retail markets, in the UK and Ireland. Andrew Cohen, CEO of Nine West, boasted to Footwear News about the retail prowess and expertise of Kurt Geiger, saying, “It’s the preeminent footwear company in the UK.” The new deal will set the stage for future collaborations between the two brand powerhouses and the pact has an option to renew.
