spring preview: eastland
Iconic New England brand Eastland Shoe is revisiting its Americana roots for spring ’10 with a collection of nautical and vintage work looks.
Shoedish will be traveling to Maine this coming weekend. Coincidence? The Freeport, Maine-based company, known for its classic handsewns, is offering a series of boat shoes, camp moccasins, and construction styles. While these retro-inspired looks hark back to the 1950s, the shoes are made with today’s comfort customer in mind with lightweight bottoms and soft nubucks and bleached suedes. The line is available at Underground Station, Nordstrom, Benjamin Lovell, and Jimmy Jazz and retails for between $75 to $110.
