shop it to me giveaway: test your fashion lingo

fashion-lingo.png

Are you fashion lingo challenged? It’s okay, there are a lot of terms floating around out there that have no origin at all, except some designer thought it sounded good for some nostalgic and classic feel. None-the-less, the ladies over at Shop It To Me - one of our fave sale mail providers - is running a contest and giveaway to test your fashion knowledge. You’ll automatically be entered for getting one correct answer, so play with it a little and see what kind of silly answers you can provide. While you’re at it, let shoedish know your most creative answers as well. We’ll reveal the “real” (boring) definitions in a just a few days. The winner will receive a free year’s subscription to Harper’s Bazaar. Contest ends Friday, September 4th and 12PST.

1. What is a Jersey Fringe Convertible?
2. What is a Dolman?
3. What is an Anorak?
4. What are Stovepipes?
5. What is a Bolero?
