Proenza Schouler, a designer we love for crossing the lines between fashionably affordable and designer expensive with his line for Target, has a new designer line available at Barney’s as well. This is the not-so-affordable collection from the chic designer, but it’s lovely none-the-less. These patent, capped-toe platform pumps with their dual-action stacked platform, are simply delicious. We also like the unique rubber piping along the throat, with reminds us of kayaking in some bizarre and yet, really good way. These sexy pumps give a whole new meaning to “fits like a glove”! Available at Barneys for $995.

Just when we thought that Monday was turning into a good shoe news day, we’re hit with this. Dina Lohan, mother of the disaster formerly known as Lindsay Lohan, will be launching her very own shoe line. Wait! It gets better. The stage mom’s collection will be a collection for “hot moms” and is scheduled to launch just in time for Mother’s Day. Awwww, because every mom aspires to be dressed by Dina Lohan. The collection, a collaboration with Long Island-based retailer, Love My Shoes, will debut with a 35-style collection and will retail for below $100. While no name has been officially selected for the line, it has been temporarily dubbed “Shoe-han”. How clever…Oh boy…
