Frankie Needles, host of “The Top 20 Latin-Urban Countdown with Frankie Needles”, hit the green carpet at the 10th Annual Latin GRAMMYs wearing the limited edition Nike Navaro High U Latino Heritage Month Commemorative Sneakers! The shoes were designed to commemorate Latino Heritage Month, with the help of Nike designer, Kiki McGehee and were inspired by an analogy of Latino’s passion for sport. The quarter panel and midsole are abstract representations of their passion for soccer and baseball. Frankie was chosen to sport the shoes to the event because of his influence in the Latin-Urban market and his reach through his radio show.
