While the gladiator sandal will still be a strong style for Spring and Summer 2010, the design will take on a more feminine and soft approach. It’s an oxymoron, really; gladiator and soft and feminine don’t really mix, but isn’t that the beauty of fashion? The Dalejr from Nine West is a perfect example of how this design can truly transform. This is the diva rockstar of gladiator sandals, complete with caviar-studded straps at the vamp, ankle, and mid-sole. Currently available for pre-order at Nine West, the Dalejr will be the perfect addition to your summer footwear collection. Go for the glamour look at Nine West! Shop the caged-in sandal look + FREE shipping!

Love it or hate it, the clog in all its modern flare and funk is back. This will be a big trend for Spring, so be prepared to see a lot more from this Nordic fashion style. Clogs are an iconic form of footwear and Spring 2010 is going to see it explode as a real fashion trend. One of our favorite clog designers, Swedish Hasbeens, has a whole lineup of great looking clog styles, from the reinterpreted bootie - swedish hasbeens Women’s 465 High Heeled Jodhpurs Boot
style to the traditional slip-on style - swedish hasbeens Women’s Slip In Super High Clog
. Swedish Hasbenns clogs are handmade from lime-tree wood and naturally tanned leather. Boho-chic meets a classic! Check out Endless.com for ore styles and to purchase.

Shoedish is confused! In the last two days we have witnessed two different women wearing short skirts with bare legs. When we saw it today, we just had to get a picture in order to prove it - yeah, creepy mccreepersen totally took this picture with her camera phone. This women has taken it even further with the flip flops. The high in New York City today was 19 degrees, which is 13 degrees below zero, in case anyone was wondering. HELLO!!!! We used to be annoyed by Uggs and skirts, but this is outrageous. Seriously?

The oxford shoe has been around for a loooooong time. A classic for business menswear, the oxford style has come in and out as a trend for women. Usually adorned with a heel, the past few seasons this menswear-inspired flat has been showing up in its classic flat form. What’s great about this style is that it looks great with just about everything, from dressing down a flirty dress to shabby-chic-ifying a cropped pant or skinny jean. We’ve seen a dozen color combinations and blocking patterns, but we’re quite fond of the simple basic from Wanted Shoes. The ‘Chap’ is a classic embossed style and is available for just $59.99.
